What We Do
We are a community doing its best to practice the works of mercy. (See left)
The Columbia Catholic Workers currently operate two houses of hospitality--St. Francis House for men and Lois Bryant House for women.
We and our amazing volunteers have also operated Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen for over 30 years - currently at Wilkes Boulevard United Methodist Church.
We operate and depend on donations of all kinds. The community of Columbia is what makes this house work! Although some Catholic Workers donate part of their salary, we could not provide the hospitality we do without your help.
